The main element of the Rusty Metal sliding door is the deliberately aged tin. The rust visible on the sheet metal is an effect caused by the natural corrosion process. Rusty Metal doors are characterised by uneven colouring and deliberate wear and tear, resulting in interesting colours. The tin on the top layer of the door is a little rough, which adds to the impression that the door has been worn down by the ravages of time. The surface can also develop brown spots to mimic increased rust attack, making each Rusty Metal door individual and unique. The whole is lacquered, which also ensures safety of use.

The frame of the Rusty Metal sliding door consists of a closed profile in which sheet metal is inserted. Everything is connected by X-shaped flat bars fixed with rivets. The steel frame, which is the structure of the door, and the flat bars are steel in colour with visible welds and scratches, thus maintaining the raw character of the door. The interior is filled with boards sandwiched between the frame profiles.
