The sliding door “Old” is made of oak. The wide, massive two-centimetre-thick planks are arranged vertically, and the outer side of the door is made up of planks in the shape of two Xs in the frame. Each of the woods used in the Old sliding door is selected and coordinated with the others to create a precise and decisive layout that pleases every user. The Old door is constructed with a frame that is also made of solid oak planks.

The door surface, with its perceptible wood grain, adds character and solidity, while the texture of the boards brings out the true texture of the wood. Natural cracks and knots in the individual elements increase the porosity and strength of the raw material. The deliberate ageing of the oak wood reinforces the impression of solidity and uncompromising strength of Old sliding doors.
